From the same pals who brought you the pop culture zaniness of the Mezzanine Sleepover, Albums Are Dead was a podcast about what has seemingly become a lost art.
In an era where any song you would ever want to hear is available at your fingertips, Albums Are Dead put a focus on the artists’ work as a whole, from cover art to track order to everything in between.
For 37 (non-consecutive) weeks, podcasting legends Sliiiiip and MEGAMIXDOTCOM broke down a different classic album and delivered their own unique takes. They were usually good for an interesting fact or two and always found a way to crack wise or work in a Prince reference.
Please remember – any tracks that were played on Albums Are Dead were done so for preview purposes only. Be sure to support the artists – preferably by purchasing the albums or listening to them via a legal streaming service.
